Davy Brandts

Davy Brandts is a versatile DJ and musical mentor from Nijmegen, and a longtime staple of the city’s nightlife since 2004. He prefers spinning vinyl — with energy, flair and a healthy dose of “Yeah baby!” in every set. Known for his soulful blend of disco and house, Davy has been a resident DJ at PAAK Vinyl Bar in Nijmegen for years and is also a regular at Het Syndicaat in Amsterdam. His sound is shaped by influences from funk, disco and afro, resulting in a warm, character-driven groove that gets people moving. Beyond the booth, Davy has played a key role behind the scenes in the Dutch electronic music scene. He previously worked as a talent scout for electronic music at De Basis and founded the DJ school Draaikunde, where he helped new talent find their place in nightlife. In recent years, he’s combined an active DJ schedule with coaching the next generation.
