Šikšna traverses unsettling and distorted soundscapes, evoking primal survival instincts buried in everyday monotony. Analogue textures, chopped-up rhythms and decaying field recordings are all subjects of study here, with a focus on the fringe and DIY side of electronica that often falls outside of what’s considered danceable.
