LABEL LAB - 10 w/ Maria Cue & Elisa Batti (Segment Records)

For the 10th episode of Label Lab, María Cue invites Elisa Batti to explore her recently launched label Segment Records. Born in Italy and based in Amsterdam, Elisa Batti is a multidisciplinary artist working across DJing, music production, and sound design, with a practice rooted in techno, ambient, and experimental electronic music. Her approach is strongly narrative-driven, focusing on atmosphere, emotional depth, and evolving sonic journeys. With Segment Records, her new imprint, she develops a platform dedicated to forward-thinking techno, ambient, and experimental music, reflecting her broader vision of electronic music as both art and culture. She is also co-founder of Amsterdam-based Immaterial Archives. As a DJ and live performer, Elisa is known for immersive sets that move fluidly through different shades of techno, blending hypnotic rhythms, textured sound design, and unexpected transitions. She is a resident of the Pax Romana collective and has performed at venues such as Berghain and De School.
