MaMA - 03 w/ Nernada

For this show, hosted by MaMA, our program maker Ruby Reding invited one of the artists from shadow circuits, Nabila Ernada, to play a ambient en dreamlike set. The exhibition takes you into the tension between tightly controlled trade flows and those that unfold spontaneously. A tear falling as an immeasurable counter-time, or the scent of Indian jasmine spreading through a room. shadow circuits draws attention to hidden geologies and infrastructures, revealing how the Western scientific drive to measure, control, and plan collides with ruptures and unpredictable movements that shape life cycles. shadow circuits is on view at MaMA until May 3.
