This December marks 130 years since the first commercial, public film screening. Taking place in France, the event consisted of ten short films screened by the Lumiere brothers on December 28th, 1895. More than a century since, French cinema is continuing to innovate. On today's mikru mikus we're going to go through a brief sonic journey across the soundtracks of French films.
