The Dolf Henkes Prize will be awarded for the tenth time in 2023. The Rotterdam art prize, funded from the painter's estate, is awarded to a leading Rotterdam or Curaçao artist every two years.
This year's nominees are Ada M. Patterson, Babette Kleijn, Samboleap Tol, Yoeri Guépin, Bik Van der Pol, Bert Frings, Dirk van Lieshout and Maike Hemmers. To offer more background material about their work, plans and ambitions, TENT Rotterdam and Operator developed a series of podcasts in which various moderators go in conversation with the artists.
The Dolf Henkes Prize 2023 exhibition at TENT Rotterdam is open through 07.01.2024. All nominees are presenting a specially selected or newly developed work in the show.
