My intention with this mix was for it to sound like the past meets the future, it’s equal parts cerebral, cheeky, lush and high on quirky ear candy. Its a ‘prototype’ of sorts to what my vinyl sets are going to sound like or atleast the starting point from where my selections are going to evolve - nostalgic/grounding familiar polyrhythmic grooves from the past meets fresh crisp wobbles that are a call from the future (almost otherworldly).
