WD40: Breath as resistance - MOMO Festival 2026

For the WD40 MOMO special Cecile invites choreographer and dancer Mehdi Dahkan. This conversation is an in-dept exploration of themes that inspired Dahkan’s performance “KMs of Resistance” which is on show Saturday April 18 at 16.00 and 20.00. Guided by sound, this episode explores forms of resistance. Such as the Moroccan music tradition of Aïta. A tradition dating back to the year 1200 and later used in resistance movements against colonial oppressionof the French. And the breath and silence as a means of resistance.
