Zemög

Over the years, Zemög has been building a name for himself in his country and around the world, keeping his psychedelic and tribal sound based on modular synthesis and experimentation. His musical progression allowed him to approach unknown sound passages, garnering great recognition and making him a precursor of this sound in Colombia. He is a multidisciplinary artist and sonic explorer known for constantly pushing the threshold when it comes to sound design and tone manipulation. He is co-founder, visual head and cultural manager of Matteria, a renowned Colombian collective that hosts electronic music events in Pereira, he also runs his own label Tepuy Records, A project deeply inspired by ancestral arts, rocks and shamanism. He has been an active DJ since 2012 with residency in several clubs in his hometown Pereira making him a selector with hierarchy, being currently a resident of Tunnel Club. His productions are often approached from repetition, hypnosis and psychedelia born from modular synthesis and sampling techniques, surfing between Techno, tribalism and ambient.
