Aleksandir

Imbued with the mediterranean influences of Istanbul, Aleksandir (from his Turkish birth name) got a name from his second EP, featuring his breakout hit Yamaha. The overnight success quickly racked up millions of streams and drew support internationally. He then started to tour across the globe. Alex released from there many projects, from albums to singles, intially more positive and naive, and nowadays more melancholic and dark. This evolution towards a darker sound got emphasized on his collaboration with Eartheater. Aleksandir perpetuated his climb with notable performances in festivals and headline shows over the past 2/3 years. His new EP, HEARTH SONGS, encapsulates the dichotomy of his nomadic lifestyle, balancing an exhilarating sense of freedom with a lack of grounding. It also draws inspirations from both the struggles and joys he has encountered.
