Arakaza

Arakaza (he/him) is a Dj/producer and multidisciplinary artist born in Burundi and based in Amsterdam. He has graced stages locally and beyond playing festivals such as Lentekabinet, Horst festival, Dekmantel Down the rabbit hole as well as clubs such as De School , Re:mise and Garage Noord. His sets bridge together his East-African roots with hard industrial sounds conjuring high energy, he also brings influences and references from the Ballroom scene which he’s a part of as a member of the Exclusive House of Lanvin. He has also been hosting his own party “Kumata” focusing on Afro-diasporic and queer artists pushing the boundaries of electronic music.
