Danou P is a refreshing blast from the past—a DJ, producer, and musician whose rising career is built on pure talent and hard work. Based in Rotterdam, Danou’s signature sound reflects his love of funky, deep and soulful sounds. Both in his DJ sets and productions, he frequently draws on a variety of interconnected styles like Disco, Boogie and Deep House.
Best known as Jamie 3:26’s regular studio partner, Danou has established a global reputation through a string of celebrated remixes for renowned labels like Glitterbox, Soul Clap Records, and Tru Thoughts. Their first collaborative EP, What It Is, released in 2022 on Dan Shake’s label, received glowing praise and support from icons like Honey Dijon and The Blessed Madonna. More recently, Danou, Jamie 3:26, and Parisian artist Young Pulse teamed up for their new project Mystic Freaks, debuting with a three-track EP on the acclaimed French label Frappé.
Alongside these high-profile collaborations, Danou is defining his uniquely personal take on warm, soul-fired, instrumentally expansive dance music with releases of his own, most recently on Soulfuric Trax.
