Feloneezy

At the dawn of the twenty-tens, Feloneezy became a luminary on the Belgrade electronic music circuit. Releasing on respected music outlets like Hyperdub, Opal Tapes, Brainfeeder, and Teklife, he spent the following years refining his aesthetic, playing everything from ambient, dub, leftfield techno to almost any lowend-adjacent strain of club music. His production on Baroque Sunburst and NYC’s underground institution Club Night Club goes hard on resampling—glacial ambiance and muscular percussion are at play with spaciousness and low-end weight, blending field recordings into hypnotic psychedelia which The Quietus described as a 'hectic combination of The Caretaker and Teklife' , recently exploring even more stripped back atmospherics on Berlin-based Appendix files. He keeps his DJing skills as a separate tool from his production. Immensely experienced behind the decks, he always keeps the focus firmly on the dancefloor. As a DJ, he occupies a unique space within the scene, drawing influences from all corners of the shop. He builds mixes uniting drastic stylistic shifts into a coherent, dancefloor-friendly experience with impeccable spurof-the-moment style, refined through years of experience behind the decks with radio shows on Rinse FM, Noods, The Lot Radio, and his own monthly outlet on Athens-based Stegi Radio (formerly known as Movement), where he explores a subtle daytime approach of experimental, ambient and pop. Feloneezy is tried and tested in any club setting, especially coming to shine in long-form sets and the all-nighters he’s been doing for over a decade.
