GAFACCI Gafacci is one of the most promising producers not only in his native Ghana but also taking into account the whole African continent. In the beginning of this decade, he was one of the key players of the new Ghanaian genre called azanto which played a crucial role in strengthening Accra's position as the most important hit-making city in Africa. It was back then that Gafacci's project JOWAA was born - his characteristic mixture of modern electronic music and local influences was quickly caught up not only by European DJs and producers (Bok Bok, Mina, Tash LC among others) but also respected labels (Ransom Note, Mixpak) and eventually led to the one and only Fever Ray asking him to rework one of her tracks for an official remix release. Now performing simply as Gafacci, he's coming back to Europe to once again get the dancefloor moving with his African infused club music sets
