Hangaëlle

Hangaëlle is a Toronto-based Mozambican DJ and producer. Known for her versatility, she is especially sought out for her genre-fluid sets that seamlessly weave Afro-electronic music, club hits, and global dance sounds into euphoric sonic experiences. Having co-founded Kuruza and Amaproblem, and more recently moving into independent curatorial work with the launch of her first solo event, Mhmmm, at CODA Nightclub, her contributions to Toronto’s music landscape have continued to establish her as a key figure in the city’s club culture. Her work has earned her two Boiler Room appearances (2022, 2023), a debut EU/UK tour (2024), and a performance at Afro Nation in Dominican Republic (2025), as she continues to build her presence as an international tastemaker and artist.
