Itesa

Daniel Bande (he/him), is a Chilean musician and artist living in Berlin after spending 5 years in Paris working as a videographer and completing an MFA. His academic background is painting, film and experimental video but spends most of his time making music. In 2018, Daniel started making music with the pseudonym Itesa. This music focuses on the programming of repetitive drum machine patterns with heavy percussion, steady pulse mono synth sequences, immersive pads and ephemeral vocals. Printing a slow, mechanical, hypnotic sound with unexpected digital textures. Using expressive mixing/production techniques inspired in dub and electronic disco. He co-founded the video company Eraxvi and currently works in Berlin.
