Kessler

DJ, producer and owner of Meraki & Footwork parties, currently based in Rotterdam (NL). Belfast native otherwise known as Eddy Kennedy is a concept soaked in originality and intuition since his debut in 2017. An array of unique self-released records, and tracks on hometown label Born Sleepy have enabled him to start his journey of sound exploration. Influenced by a wide pallet, gathering the influence of many to compose and nurture an eclectic sound belonging to a world of its own. Having developed his sound in UK & Ireland, Kessler relocated to the Netherlands to continue growing his forward thinking & genre defying sound, creating a signature pallet of aggressive and energetic broken beat & bass-driven electronic music. Also renowned for his DJing, Kessler has gained reputation for his tough & unique selections, earning himself a residency with Manchester-based Limbo Radio, slot's at AVA Festival, Shine, Twitch to name a few, and a standout performance at Mixmag's Lab London in 2019, whilst also tipped by Four Four Mag as one to watch. Recently, Kessler has touched down on the Dutch electronic scene, bringing his own intuition and ideas. 2020 looks to be a breakthrough year for the young creative, with a forthcoming robust string of aggressive electro, breaks & bass infused releases. Not simply relying on creating, Kessler hones his own club imprints Footwork & newly launched Meraki, which sees him curate line-ups within the realm of electro, breaks & driven techno across dancefloors in Europe.
