Laura Kampman

Laura Kampman is a photographer and composer who, in recent years, has specialized in capturing memories through sound rather than images. Using her phone, she records the sounds of her surroundings, conversations, melodies, objects and intimate moments with loved ones. She weaves these recordings into layered, unique soundscapes. And with success: her debut album Coming into Daily Life (2024) was featured in the year-end list of Boomkat, one of the largest independent online record stores for innovative music.
