Tasneem, known by her artist name LightBeams is a writer, DJ and all-around music nerd from South Africa. She has graced decks across Johannesburg and Cape Town, immersing listeners with her eclectic taste and skilful track selection. Currently pursuing her LLM in International Law, her research focuses on the link between music and the arts, interdisciplinary cultural practices and human rights law.
