Manila Spice

Raised in the UK and of half-Filipino descent, Manila Spice is a DJ and visual designer based in Amsterdam. His fascination with the UK’s free party scene led him into promoting events during his university years, eventually taking him to Hanoi, Vietnam, where he stepped behind the decks. A residency with Defused Mood, one of Southeast Asia’s key drum & bass collectives-honed his distinct style. Manila Spice crafts a soundscape that weaves percussive depth with experimental bass and techno, pulling from a rich tapestry of influences and travels. Outside of DJing, Manila Spice is a co-founder of two non-profit organisations; Boarders Not Borders and Loma Sound.
