MF Andrade is a Rotterdam home based artist, with Cape Verdian roots. He spread his tentacles to multiple corners of art. Start painting and developed his own style. Moved from painting to playing records and back. Now a days Andrade finds himself swimming in a pile of black gold after collecting records like a maniac. From studio one to old skool hip/hop, Detroit -House/Techno to dusty African tribe- like sounds and other heavy vibes from all over the world. As a painting artist he find his inspiration rooted in music, art and cinema. Past examples of his portraits are of influential producers and musicians like Moodymann, Amp Fiddler and David Bowie, but also of artists like Frida Kahlo and cinema figure GUMMO.
