Norman Maldonado aka Octoptic originally from Hermosillo, Sonora is an artist, sound designer, music producer, DJ and co-founder of WavaWava recognized mexican label. It focuses on creating a hypnotic and energetic environment that combines multiple genres such as Latin club, electro, breaks, techno,leftfield, ambient, idm in a dj set or live format. He has published on labels such as Woozy Dub (Dublin), Elicit Records (United Kingdom), Bangerz Only,Ommaya Records (USA) Ssensorial, Null Records, VAA (CDMX), TNR Media (Colombia), Jupiter4 (Berlin), Etherwerkz (Croatia) ) and in WavaWava itself, in which he has released 3 EPs in the last 3 years with great response from artists around the world. Currently Octoptic will debut in the UK & Europe both in the local underground scene with Elastics at SET Vault, London, a radio show at Operator Radio, Rotterdam and in clubs of great renown and history such as Tresor in Berlin and Razzmatazz in Barcelona.
