Inspired by DJ culture from London, Chicago, Detroit, and New York, Playing with knives' started her DJ career at the renowned Momo in Mayfair and developed her selector skills at the iconic club Plastic People in Shoreditch. She appeared on one of the very first Boiler Rooms, where she's still one of their programming consultants. She is a frequent guest on NTS Radio and she's played alongside legends such as Lil Louis, Theo Parrish, Idris Elba, Sir Norman Jay, and Osunlade. She performed at Madonna's Madame X afterparty, Dave Chappelle's official afterparty, and at Damien Hirst's opening at Claridge's. None other than yasiin bey aka ‪Mos Def‬ took note and for the past few years, Playing with Knives has been his go-to selector, and went on as yasiin's executive producer of his Negus installation.
