Pretty//Ugly

I think I’m trying to get a taste of all the flavors. Coming from a burning desire, to feel more like myself" Deeply embedded in and indebted to the volunteer culture of DIY spaces Pretty//Ugly came into being. Born from a vision to bring to life a less rigidly divided sense of genre and discipline. As an organizer Pretty//Ugly has hosted shows for acts like Swan Meat, Crywank, Global Charming, Geo, Promis3, NAH, local Rotterdam acts like Tramhaus, Pig Frenzy and Smudged, upcoming acts like Min Taka and BUG and a bunch more. Acting sometimes as a DJ, they played the same kind of diverse shows as they organize: opening for Model/Actriz, Lucidvox, Guerilla Toss, Courtney May Robertson, Museumnight, a silent disco at Melkweg, etc.
