Serenus

Classically schooled on the cello, Serenus’ journey began early as he started to collect techno tapes at the age of 7 and subsequently explored different genres of electronic music. He was soon drawn to the more intricate and atmospheric sides of techno, finding his passion in organically structured, dubby and atmospheric soundscapes. His DJ style is inspired by a live jam approach, playfully layering tracks or his own loops to create dynamic, evolving and tense performances. As the co-founder of Lowpass, an independent event series and record label, Serenus has curated experiences that span from driving techno to deep listening sessions, creating a unique and intimate space for both artists and listeners to explore.
