Söfia Kuz is a Siberian DJ based in Milan, whose sound reflects a deeply personal and ever-evolving musical journey. Shaped by her cultural roots and diverse influences, she grew up surrounded by music — singing in choirs, studying classical music in Rome, while cultivating a rebellious love for hard rock, metal, and punk. These contrasting worlds eventually converged in Milan’s vibrant electronic scene, where she discovered her authentic voice. Rooted in techno, Söfia’s sets blend dark, melancholic undertones with hypnotic rhythms, industrial textures, and flashes of groovy, high-voltage energy. The emotional depth and raw intensity of her sound mirror her eclectic background and expressive nature. Her journey into electronic music began at Tempio del Futuro Perduto, one of Milan’s key underground hubs, where she first connected with the city’s scene. She later became a resident DJ for the collective Diesekte.rec, a period that further shaped her sonic identity and performance style. Over time, she has performed across several Italian cities, sharing the booth with artists such as UFO95, Nastia, Inoxx Traxx, Delano Legito, Phil Berg, Headless Horseman, and many more — affirming her growing presence and versatility within the contemporary landscape.
