Bridging the sonic landscapes of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, Taped Artifact returns to the airwaves at Operator Radio. Founded in 2014 by Kevin Arnemann and Daan Kemp, Taped Artifact was established as a platform dedicated to the "artification" of deep, atmospheric music. By merging club culture with various visual art forms, the label carved out a unique space for immersive storytelling through sound. After several years of quiet contemplation, the imprint is stepping back into the light. The motivation for this comeback is simple: a felt absence. In a rapidly evolving nightlife scene, the specific, soul-soothing pulse of dubtechno has become a rare find in clubs nowadays. Taped Artifact is back to reclaim that space, reintroducing the warmth and texture that defines their signature aesthetic. To celebrate this new chapter, the label kicks off their return with this special broadcast on Operator Radio, followed by an all-night event at Sonoor on March 14.
