Thelonious is a DJ, promoter, and co-founder of the Valencia/Glasgow-based label Ecco Records, which has been active for almost three years and published six releases to date. Connected to the club and soundsystem scenes, his sound—strongly influenced by dub—spans genres such as UK techno, dubstep, and jungle.
Apart from his solo career, he also collaborates as a duo with norim under the alias Tyre Pressure. Through blending their varying musical influences, they create a hard hitting sound that spans hypnotic dub techno to deep 140 bass. Based in Valencia and always promoting the culture, he is a resident and promoter of his 'Roots 'n' Future' party, held every Wednesday during the summer at his trusted, intimate club. This concept aims to support local talent by showcasing a variety of styles, yet always with a nod to sound system culture. He has performed in clubs such as Spook (Valencia), Razzmatazz (Barcelona), Siroco (Madrid), Venue MOT (London), and Exit (Glasgow).
