Rubber Leg Movement

Rubber Legs Movement is a collab by Peter Timmer and Luc Sponger from Dordrecht. These 2 men of a certain age, combine a music taste from a very diverse background. Timmer grew up with classical and symphonic rock, while Sponger teared down the dance floor of Alcazar and the Roxy. Nowadays they keep each other sharp with 70 's funk jazz, MPB, spiritual jazz, some electronics, Detroit house, Dâm Funk-funk , filmscores and labels like 22A and Rythm Section. They spin records for the fun of it all. Often at home and regularly on other occasions. Way back started at the "Beat club" in Dordrecht, then the own "MICRO" club night for 5 years and lately in Bird and Lantaren Venster. During Operator, the emphasis is on eclectic BlackMusic, from Tenderlonious to Omar S and from Tony Allen to RedRack'em and Ray Baretto. Just “Sounds from the Isle of D”…….
